Well, I’ve been questionable meat-flavoured hell, I’ve been animated paper, I’ve been a beautiful can of pink hair and, this Friday, I’ll also be a conceited newsreader loosely based on real-life people, but with Fiona Bruce’s serious eyes and Julie Etchingham’s mad hands.

If you love it when people in local newspapers point at potholes with a disgruntled, slightly pained look on their face, then this is going to be the cinematic event of the year for you. Bookmark away!

What else? The next episode of Animation Array (an Adult Swim-inspired animation show I've been curating) airs this Friday, June 5th. There's moving Isle of Wight postcards, some plastic animals that can't cope with hay and even several charming puppets that aren't mine - you don't want to miss this one!

Neighbourhood Updates!

There's a fancy new membership badge that's just arrived, which will be posted out with the festive ephemera (you know what I mean - got a few ideas for that this year). That is, except for John, who got a badge early because I couldn't find any of the old yellow pin design to hand (but my mum still has a few left - that'll be a collector's item soon…). 

I am also completely out of the VERXES cassette now but newbies can still get a Gilded Cage CD and there are also new cassettes with 20% off for Neighbourhood dwellers, plus on Friday you can check the video above to see your name on the Isle of Wight Inquirer's homepage. Fame at last!
